Why hotel charging matters for road trips

Charging overnight at your hotel is the cheapest, most convenient way to road-trip in an EV. You arrive with whatever range you have left, plug in, and leave the next morning at 100% — no stopping at a public DCFC, no waiting around for a session to finish.

Most hotel chargers are Level 2 (3.3–11 kW), which is plenty to refill overnight. A few high-end properties install DC fast chargers as a guest amenity, which you can find by adding a power filter in the full directory.
