We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our EV charging station directory
- Create and manage your account
- Display charging station information to drivers
- Process reviews and facilitate communication between drivers and station owners
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets)
- Send service-related communications about your account or listings
3. Information Sharing
Charging station information (name, address, amenities, photos, reviews) is publicly visible on SpotCharge. This is the core purpose of our directory service.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information with service providers who help us operate our platform (e.g., hosting, email delivery, payment processing), and when required by law.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and implement access controls to protect your information. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Opt out of marketing communications
