How to Add Amenities
Step 1: Access Amenities Page
- Go to Dashboard β Sites
- Click on your location
- Click "Amenities" tab (or button)
- Or go directly to:
/dashboard/sites/[id]/amenities
Step 2: Select Standard Amenities
Browse by category:
- Expand category (e.g., "Facilities")
- Check boxes for amenities you offer
- Repeat for all categories
- Selected amenities show with checkmarks
Tips:
- Only select amenities you actually offer
- Be honest - drivers will review based on expectations
- Update seasonally (e.g., outdoor seating in summer)
Step 3: Add Custom Amenities (Premium Only)
For unique features not in standard list:
- Scroll to "Custom Amenities" section
- Click "Add Custom Amenity" button
- Enter amenity name (e.g., "Tesla lounge with espresso bar")
- Select category (or "Other")
- Add optional description
- Click "Add"
Custom amenity limits:
- Free tier: No custom amenities
- Premium: Up to 5 custom amenities
- Premium Multi: Unlimited custom amenities
Good custom amenity examples:

- Review all selected amenities
- Click "Save Amenities"
- Changes take effect immediately

How Drivers See Amenities
In search results:
- Amenity icons displayed below station name
- Top 4-5 most popular amenities shown
- "Show more" reveals full list
On location detail page:
- All amenities listed by category
- Icons for standard amenities
- Custom amenities in separate section
- Clear, scannable format
In filters:
- Drivers can filter locations by amenity
- Only locations with that amenity appear
- Multiple amenity filters combine (AND logic)
Example filter: "Show me charging stations with restrooms AND WiFi AND 24/7 access"
Best Practices
Be Accurate & Honest

- Only list amenities that are truly available
- Update when amenities change
- Note restrictions (e.g., "Restrooms - business hours only")
- Remove amenities if no longer available

- List amenities that don't exist (drivers will notice)

- Include conditional amenities without noting conditions

Editing Amenities
To update amenities:
- Dashboard β Sites β [Location] β Amenities
- Check/uncheck standard amenities
- Edit or delete custom amenities
- Click "Save Changes"
Changes are immediate - no review required.
Removing Amenities
To remove standard amenity:
- Uncheck the box
- Click "Save Amenities"
To remove custom amenity:
- Find amenity in Custom Amenities list
- Click "Remove" (X icon)
- Confirm deletion
- Click "Save Amenities"
