Boyne Highlands Resort - Tesla Destination
Harbor Springs, MI
Resort town · Northern Michigan
Little Traverse Bay is Northern Michigan’s classic resort coast: Petoskey’s Gaslight District, Harbor Springs across the bay, Charlevoix between two lakes, and the Boyne resorts in the hills behind them. The 26-mile Little Traverse Wheelway links the towns along the waterfront.
Visits here are built from long, parked stretches — a resort stay, a downtown evening, a day on the Wheelway — which is exactly what Level 2 charging is for. The resorts and downtowns carry most of the plugs, with fast charging on the US-31 approach.
When to go: Summer is peak, but this is one of Michigan’s few true four-season destinations — Boyne ski weekends keep winter demand real, and fall color around the bay rivals the Tunnel of Trees.
Purple pins have DC fast charging; green pins are Level 2. Tap a pin for the location page.
Overnight Level 2 at your lodging is the cheapest, easiest way to charge on a trip — arrive on whatever range you have, leave at 100%.
DC fast charging in and around Little Traverse Bay — for arrivals, departures, and day-trippers who aren’t staying overnight.

EV drivers plan trips around where they can charge — and a Level 2 charger costs a fraction of what most owners expect. If you already have one, claim your listing so drivers (and this page) can find it. Verified and Premium listings rank first in every section here.
