SpotCharge tracks 965 public EV charging locations across Utah, spanning 1,089 stations and 3,844 ports. 221 locations offer DC fast charging and 765 offer Level 2 (AC), with the fastest stations rated up to 500 kW. ChargePoint Network is the most common network in the state.
As of 2024, Utah had 67,700 plug-in vehicles registered — 52,200 fully battery-electric (77%) and 15,500 plug-in hybrid (23%). That ranks Utah #20 nationally and represents about 1.1% of all US plug-in registrations.

Charging-infrastructure counts are SpotCharge directory aggregates compiled from OpenChargeMap, the US DOE Alternative Fuels Data Center (AFDC), and OpenStreetMap, covering publicly-listed stations in Utah.
EV registration figures are 2024 data from AFDC (data from Experian Information Solutions). Numbers reflect publicly-accessible charging only (private/workplace/fleet sites excluded). Port counts are individual L2 or DCFC ports — a site with 8 DCFC ports contributes 8, not 1. EV count is BEV+PHEV combined; BEV-only is shown separately. Registration data is the latest annual AFDC/Experian snapshot.
