How to Claim Your Location

Search SpotCharge:

  1. Visit SpotCharge Locations
  2. Search by your station's address or business name
  3. Or use the map to locate your station visually

Verify Your Station:

  • Confirm the address matches
  • Check the number of charging ports
  • Verify the connector types listed
  • Note any information that needs updating

Most stations on SpotCharge are imported from the NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory) database and are marked as "Unclaimed."

Step 2: Create a Location Owner Account

Sign Up:

  1. Click the "Claim This Location" button on your station's page
  2. Or go directly to Sign Up
  3. Select "Location Owner" as your account type
  4. Complete the registration form

Account Information Needed:

  • Business email address
  • Company name
  • Contact phone number
  • Your role (owner, manager, operator)

Step 3: Submit Your Claim

Provide Verification Documents:

To verify ownership, you'll need to provide one of these:
